Marco Piperno from Lecce, studied classic guitar with Vito Fiore MARCO PIPERNO (ITALY) Marco Piperno from Lecce, studied classic guitar with Vito Fiore since 1999; he graduated when he was 17, followed by Bruno Battisti D’Amario at the Music Conservatory “Santa Cecilia” in Rome.

In 2014 he graduated at the two-years specialization of second level with 110 with laud with Nando Di Modugno at the Conservatory of Music N. Piccinni in Bari. From 2010 to 2013 he attended the high perfection courses at the “Accademia Musicale Chigiana” in Siena with Oscar Ghiglia.

Since 2013 he is making progress with Paolo Pegoraro and Adriano Del Sal at the “Segovia Guitar Academy” in Pordenone and from 2017 with Giampaolo Bandiniat “Istituto Boccherini” in Lucca. In 2018 he graduated at Master of second level with 110 with laud at Conservatory of music “A. Boito” in Parma with Massimo Felici.
Since 2014 he won numerous guitar competitions in Italy and in the world obtaining twenty international awards including more then ten first prizes, among the most important 1st prize XXVI Concurso Ciudad de Linares Andrés Segovia, 1st prize Forum Gitarre Wien 2020, 2nd prize “Alexander Frauchi International Guitar Competition” Moscow 2017 and 2nd prize with first not awarded XLIII Incontri Chitarristici di Gargnano.

He also is winner of 1stprize and public prize at XVI ConcursoInternacional Guitarra el Condado, 1st prize Concurso Internacional “Esteban Daza” Valladolid, 1st prize Elche Guitar Competition, 1st prize II Selezione Internazionale Giovani Concertisti del Festival Valle dell'Ossola, 1st prize III Concorso Internazionale Varie Azioni sul Tema Città di Porto San Giorgio, 1st prize Concorso Internazionale Borguitar Festival, 1st absolute prize Concorso Giulio Rospigliosi, 2nd prize Zagreb Guitar Competition, 2nd prize XL Concorso Incontri Chitarristici di Gargnano, 2ndprizeConcorso Internazionale omaggio a N. Paganini di Parma 2017/18, 2nd prize Sanremo Guitar Competition 2015/17/18, 3rd prize XV Concurso Ciudad de Linares Andres Segovia, 3rdprize XXII Coria Guitar Competition, 3rd prize and public prize Claxica Guitar Competition. At the age of 12 he made his first recital, starting his concert activity as a soloist, taking concerts in Italy and abroad. For many years he has played a leading role in numerous guitar festivals, including “Andrés Segovia” by Linares, Festival Internacional de Guitarra Ciudad de Valladolid, “Festival Paganini” in Parma, Comarca del Condado, Festival de Guitarra de Girona Costa Brava, "Segovia Guitar Week" of Pordenone etc.

He has performed in the most prestigious theaters of Lecce, Siena, Rome, Bologna, Bari, Domodossola, Naples, Parma, Vienna, Brussels, Linares, Jaen, Belgrade, Zagreb and Moscow. He played the Concert in D by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco in Moscow with the Orchestra Musica Viva Moscow Chamber Orchestra, with the orchestra {oh!}Orkiestra Historyczna of Katowice in Tychy under the direction of M ° Marek Mosand with the orchestra of the Conservatory “Arrigo Boito” of Parma in Parma. He is currently a professor at the Conservatory “Nino Rota” in Monopoli.
