Slovenian guitarist Simon Roguljic started his
Classical Guitar studies at the Music academy Elly
Basicin Zagreb, and is currently enrolled at the Music
and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK).

During his Academy years, he was a winner of Omis
Guitar Festival, Mörski Guitar Festival, Temsig Guitar
Competition, Opatija Guitar Competition and performed
at the Croatian Nation Television allthe while holding
recitals in Slovenia and also performing as a guest with
the Spanish music andperformance group Sometresons+A.

As of 2014, Simon has been under the tutelage of
Prof. Jorgos Panetsos at the MUK university and has
been most notably, a founding member of two ensembles,
the first of which, was ViennellyGuitar Quartet; and Bataclana
(later »DAS«) Quintet. As a member of a modern tango
ensamble, hewon the Fidelio Competition in Vienna, which
saw the group perform at the ORF Radiokulturhaus and in
the Schönbrunner Orangerie. Performances also followed in
Slovakia, in the Viennese Bösendorfer Salon during their
Advent Pop-Up Series and a concert at a Jazz Fest in Vienna's
Altes Rathaus.

As a soloist he joined the Production of the Opera Maria
de Buenos Aires, performing in TheaterAkzent; and has
performed at the Festival of contemporary music
»Wien Modern« in the Wiener Konzerthaus, in the
MUK project »The Luciano Berio's Sequenzas«.
2019 saw Simon perform in Italyat the Roma Expo Guitar,
he has also given an interview on Radio Klassik, where
two of hisrecordings, namely Edino Krieger's Ritmata
and Rossiniana No. 3, Op.121 by Mauro Giuliani were to be heard.
